Zurich is number one in 2009 with 16 Berlin Champions competing

In the statistical survey of one day top meetings in terms of individual World Champions from Berlin 2009 participating the best is Weltklasse of Zurich with 16 such athletes. It should be noted that meetings after the championships already knew the names of champions. From the meetings before Berlin the best is Rome, Lausanne and London with 13 champions. Here it should be noted that London was staged over two days with more events and that means more options to have future champions. That was within Golden League and Super Grand Prix meetings.

In the Grand Prix category the highest number in pre-Berlin time was Eugene with 12 and Ostrava with 8, in post-Berlin time Gateshead with 10 champions. From European permits the best is Pedros Cup in Szceczin, Poland with 6 Berlin champions in the post-Berlin time and Rethymno with four in pre-Berlin time. In other continents Shanghai had 8 champions in post-Berlin and Kingston with Sydney 6 in pre-Berlin situation.
